Biography
Industrial/Nu Metal band formed in '96 by Edgemont Martin (Edgy 59), originally as a side project to the Stoner/Doom Metal band Burning Witch that he was a frontman for. Sinisstar would release one album ("Future Shock") in 2002 and appear on both the Heavy Metal 2000 and WWF: Tough Enough 2 soundtracks. The band were originally courted by Fred Durst for his Flawless Records label before the band and Durst had a falling out, leading to Sinisstar signing with Geffen Records. The band had one music video, for the single 'White Noise'. During their history, the band would share the stage with the likes of Static-X, Adema, 40 Below Summer, Rob Zombie, Earshot, The Damned and Onesidezero, as well as being the opening act for a section of the 2000 Anger Management Tour with Limp Bizkit, Eminem, DMX, Godsmack & Primer 55.
