From Nu-metal Preservation

Lymph Node

AKA Lymphnode, (lymphnode)
Active Years ? - 2005?
Origin Stoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire, UK

Biography

"Formed in twothousandandsomething, lymphnode were the bored teenage youth of stoke's answer to punk/pop humour. Bought up on deftones/machine head and smashing pumpkins, 'the node' went through many musical changes before it's current incarnation. Losing just one member and trying out a few extra guitarists, lymphnode were never meant to be a five-piece.

Retreating from the adolescent garage band they have grown in to a clash of emo and metal, fusing contagious guitar riffs, dulcet vocals with a fringe of screamage, and frantic drums, paced by a battered bass guitar. Influenced by such up and coming bands as 36crazyfists, atreyu, funeral for a friend, lostprophets and still keeping the heritage of machine head, deftones, fear factory and pantera.

Rooted in school animosity, and fostered by disputes and beers, lymphnode are;

Rob Jenkinson - Vocals

Mat Massey - Bass and voiced assaults

Nick Latocha - Guitars and sporadic synth

Tom Wilson - Drums and beatings"
