Biography

The beginnings of the band date back to December 1993. The main founders of the group were Robert "Litza" Friedrich and Maciej "Ślimak" Starosta, members of the band Acid Drinkers and in private life brothers-in-law. After recording the album Vile Vicious Vision with this band, released on October 10, 1993 (in the opinion of many people and themselves, it did not have the desired power and energy), they decided to create a project that would satisfy the need for stronger playing. As Robert Friedrich admitted, he missed playing "strong thrash" at that time. The new formation found an outlet for creating this genre of music combined with hip-hop and hardcore punk. Moreover, it became possible to present in the lyrics other content than those shown in the lyrics of Acid Drinkers, written by Tomasz "Titus" Pukacki. In North America, the word flapjack means pancake. In an interview from 1994, Maciej Starosta said "our brains look like pancakes after playing in Acid Drinkers."
