Biography
"We are a 5 piece band from Hamilton, Ohio, that play hardcore music. We play music and write songs that best describes how we feel, rather we are angry, happy, frustrated, or just pissed off. We set no boundaries, and we have no limits. We have 2 guitar players, a bass player, a drummer, and lead vocals. We play mostly hard shit but we do have some slow stuff that we mix it up with, and for as hard as our music is, it clearly has a soft side as well. Fivesoul formed in the Winter of 2000 around January, after the break up of former band Talis. Lead singer, Mike Nobis, and guitarists Mike Gray, and David Shaw, got back together to start a new band after being in an old band (Talis) together. They picked up drummer Elbert Lunsford and rejoined with former Talis bass player Jimi Gadd. After this they got started playing a lot of shows, and writing a lot of songs. After a few months of playing together Jimi Gadd decided to leave the group for other obligations. After a couple more months of looking and trying out numerous bass players, they settled with bassist GORB (a.k.a. Mike Wulfram). And the Fivesoul sound was finally established." [1]
