Biography
Deep end is a peculiar new Rock band that uses a palette of musical styles to form its own sound. Currently they are a trio that has been actively gigging for the past three years. Hard Rock is their predominant sound although they surprise you with an infinity of strange and clever sounds. Deep end likes to make good music with catchy licks and without taking the usual obvious boring route that most bands take. In their music, you can hear anything from Indian drums to synth sounds. Their radical time signature changes can whiplash your neck. The musical tastes you can find weaved in Deep ends sound can be anything from Arab melodies, to English rock, to drum and bass. Their experience as a band consists of a variety of live acts throughout Spain that include an event called “Spontaneous” which is a Skateboard, BMX, Rollerblade touring exhibition in which Deep end has helped to propel with the appropriate momentum. Deep end has recently been awarded prizes at six different national band competitions,four of them being first prizes and the rest second, Molina Rock 2006, Libre Alberdrio Rock 2007, Pasion Rock 2007, 6 groupos 6 2007, La Elipa Rock festival 2007 and just recently Manzano Rock festival 2008. They have appeared on national radio on several occasions as an original act. Deep end is the kind of band that itches you to listen to them when you’re tired of the same old recipe that most bands exploit. They alleviate the redundancy of current monotonous musical repeats.
