Biography
The members of Send 72 were born and raised in the one and only New Jersey music scene and formed the band in the summer of 1997. They have a unique style, blending metal, hardcore, and a even a little bit of rap. The band members' influences, however, range from everything like old school punk and metal, to classic artists such as the Police and Beatles.
Their live show is one that has to be witnessed in person to fully realize the powerhouse of sound that is Send 72. They have held their own on stage opening for such acts as Machine Head, System of a Down, Candiria, Suicidal Tendencies, Coal Chamber, Slipknot, and Pro-Pain, just to name a few.
From their live performances, to their writing and practice sessions, Send 72 share a vibe like a family unit. They are always on the move, and never standing still. They are constantly pushing themselves forward, and never looking back. A burning need to express themselves, and a deep commitment to their music result in an ever improving live show.
To date, the band has released a 6 song demo and 89.5 WSOU radio, the #1 college radio for heavy music, has been spinning the bands single, "Focus", which has been making a buzz for the band all over the Tri-state area. The future has no boundaries for Send 72, as they continue to attract new listeners to their music.
The masses have been warned, no one is safe. Music will never be the same....
