Biography

Chinga Monkey (featured as Loudside Underground Buzz in 1997), booked there 1st show at a coffee shop in Alhambra Ca (late 1996). After only 6 months of playing the LA circuit with local L.A. artists System of a Down, Static (Static X), Papa Roach, Xero, Spineshank, Machine Head, Hed, Snot, IGR (first Gong's band), Weird Head, Suicidal Tendencies etc. Chinga Monkey had started a buzz and a steady following that would rapidly accumulate over the following year. In mid 1998, Chinga Monkey under went some artistic differences which lead to the departure of their singer. In 1999 the rest created a new band O.h.m.
