Biography

Sucker has been hard at work, and their determination is starting to pay off. The guys are excited to release their new CD "Get On Board" and video for the first single Shut Up. The new CD was recorded at 54 Sound in Detroit by Steve King (Eminem, George Clinton). Sucker has been gaining more and recognition with the press and radio and has received international offers to have their music included in sports television, and even video games.

The band is all about their live show, and their goal is to captivate each and every audience member with their raw energy. Sucker has been touring extensively throughout the west and midwest, and have played with bands like Primus, Fishbone, Spearhead, The Long Beach Dub-Allstars and Pennywise.

"Get On Board" is part funk, part hardcore and part reggae with a pinch of hip-hop flavor thrown in the pot. Sucker's music is different than most hardcore groups not only because of the blend of other styles, but mostly because of the positive message they are trying to get across. They want to let people know that music is a tool for decompressing yourself. Instead of being angry about everything, Sucker has a positive vibe and hopes it will motivate people to be real.

The recent addition of Aaron Ficca, aka Jr Mint, on drums has taken Sucker's energy to a whole new level. With Sid Greenbud's monster grooves and slaps on bass, Rodney Coquia's colorful guitar licks, Scott Stoughton's diverse and animated vocals and now Aaron's hip-hop and hardcore inspired drum beats, Sucker has become a machine of electricity and energy. Make sure you get a taste of these guys, because this Sucker has a flavor that you're not likely to forget!
