Backstab were a French Nu Metal band with Electronic & Drum N Bass elements that formed back in 1995. The band released 2 full albums, 2 singles and a demo as well as appearing on a number of compilations over the years. The band also contributed a remix for Fear Factory (for the track 'Smasher/Devourer') which became an "Obsolete" B-Side. Over the years the group shared the stage with the likes of Nihil, Pleymo, Urban Dance Squad, Artsonic, Tripod & Watcha as well as many others. Little is known about the end of the band, but their last release came in 2005 with their second full length "Futura".
